Since he founded Griffco in 2007, Scott has been responsible for the planning, design and construction of food distribution facilities including grocery, food service, manufacturing and public refrigerated warehouses. As Chief Executive Officer, Scott’s role is to provide overall direction and ensure Griffco remains aligned with the client’s goals and objectives.
Scott has more than 30 years of experience in the food distribution and commercial construction industries and leads his team with confidence, integrity and excellence.
Executive Vice President, Food and Industrial Group
Aaron has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry including the programming, design and construction of cold storage, food distribution and industrial facilities. Throughout his career, Aaron has experienced many roles in the design/build space, from project management to business development to the executive suite. As Executive Vice President of the Food and Industrial Group, Aaron oversees all operations from pre-construction to project completion.
Senior Vice President, Commercial Group
Steve has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry as a project manager, project executive, estimator and Senior Vice President of commercial and industrial construction companies. Since he started the Griffco Commercial Group in 2008, Steve has been responsible for the design, development and construction of self-storage facilities throughout the southeast. He is proficient in pre-construction and coordination of design and engineering, value engineering, project accounting, scheduling, contract negotiations and client relations and is a valuable leader to our Commercial team.
Senior Vice President, Planning and Design
As Senior Vice President of Planning and Design for the Food and Industrial Group, Dennis is responsible for the planning, architecture and engineering of all food and industrial projects. Dennis has extensive experience in all aspects of conventional and automated distribution and process facilities.
Dennis began his career as an electrical engineer and, as he became interested in design and construction management, has gained valuable experience in all aspects of the design/build process. Dennis works closely with our in-house design team and the client’s project management team to plan and engineer each project and provide efficient and well-coordinated documents, ensuring that our projects are successfully completed.
Vice President of Construction, Commercial Group
Rusty is responsible for managing and directing the project managers and superintendents of the Commercial Group. He oversees the coordination of scheduling, material and subcontractor buyouts, owner interface and safety for each project. Having more than 20 years of experience in estimating and managing multi-million-dollar projects on-schedule and within-budget, Rusty is a knowledgeable and influential leader to our Commercial team.
Tammi Bailey, A.I.A., D.B.I.A.
President of Design
Tammi has more than 20 years of experience in 3D and architectural design, specializing in both conventional and automated refrigerated and frozen food distribution facilities. As President of Design, Tammi leads the strategic direction of our in-house design team and oversees day-to-day design operations. She is an industry leader and her hard work maintains the level of quality our clients have come to expect from our design team.
Eric Cobbs, A.I.A, NCARB
Vice President of Design Services
As Vice President of Design Services, Eric works closely with the client team as well as the Griffco in-house design and construction teams to ensure a smooth project from planning to completion. He has more than 20 years of experience as a registered architect planning and designing multi-million-dollar facilities in the food, cold storage warehousing, distribution and commercial industries. His meticulous attention to detail and talent in construction architecture make him an industry leader and an integral part of our team.
Vice President, Food and Industrial Group - Texas Office
As Vice President of the Food and Industrial Group, Robert is responsible for managing existing projects and generating new business in the Texas market. Having more than 20 years of field experience as a Director of Construction and Project Manager, Robert is well-versed in all areas of the construction process and provides leadership and oversight for day-to-day construction and administrative operations within the project team. His extensive industry knowledge and effective communication skills ensures a smooth project execution process.
Vice President, Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development, Kent is responsible for acquiring new business in the food, industrial and commercial market segments. Kent uses his 20+ years of experience as a Project Engineer and Project Manager to help our partners define their needs and assist them through the design and budgeting process into the contract and early construction phases. Skilled in design, value engineering, cost management, project estimation and scheduling, Kent knows how to build professional partnerships and advise clients in their decision-making process.
Tina oversees all accounting, business support and financial planning and analysis for Griffco. She has been an essential part of the company’s growth since Griffco opened in 2007. Tina has more than two decades of experience in accounting, specifically in the construction industry, and has mastered client and employee relations. She has built and sustained our finance team since Griffco’s beginning and continues to lead with excellence.
