Griffco Completes Atlanta Self Storage Facility on Cascade Road
Griffco Design/Build, Inc. recently completed a 99,000-square-foot self storage facility in Atlanta, Georgia. This 3-story facility contains 72,000 square feet of climate-controlled, rentable storage space and is positioned off of Cascade Road in southwest Atlanta. Our team faced many challenges during the construction process, including drilling and blasting down 30 feet of solid granite for the building pad while carefully avoiding the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport fuel pipeline easement that runs under the site, drilling along Cascade road for utility tie-ins and widening the road and decel lane for the adjacent roads. Our team worked hard to overcome these challenges and constructed an impressive facility with two-color brick veneer and decorative arches. This facility is owned by Diamond Point Development and managed by Life Storage.
